Nimble Press Web sites and Services include a free listing grants and awards listing services on Grant Wrangler and the administration of grants and awards applications on behalf of grant-giving and award organizations (“Sponsors”) as specified in each award application. We use the information we collect about you to process your application for the grant or award you specify, to send you e-mail information as requested, and to personalize your experience at our Web sites.

Nimble Press is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy statement explains how we gather information and how we protect your privacy.

Your Consent

By using our Web sites, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Nimble Press and the specified Sponsors for your application.

Use by Children

If you are under the age of 14, you are not authorized to enter any personally identifiable information on any Nimble Press Web sites. Please do not provide us with any personally identifiable information. A parent can review their child’s personal information by contacting Nimble Press directly. To request removal of information, a parent can mail a written letter to Nimble Press at the address at the end of this policy.

Information That Nimble Press Collects

Applying Online. When you apply for a grant or award, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, and other related information. Providing this information allows us to process your application and to notify you of your application status.

Promotions, Online Surveys & Announcements. If you decide to participate in an online survey, subscribe to an e-mail list, or use one of our other promotional features, we ask for your name, address, e-mail address and other pertinent information to administer the contest, tabulate survey results or add you to subscriber lists.

Browsing. We use "cookies" to help us process your application and to customize information that we present to you. A cookie is a small text file that does not personally identify users, although it does identify a user's computer. Cookies do not pose a threat to your computer, and they do not contain viruses. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change this feature in your browser.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We will provide aggregate data for advertisers such as click throughs, domains, and other relevant information.  

How Nimble Press Protects Your Information

When you complete an application, we use a secure server to protect your sensitive information. The secure server software encrypts all information you input during its to us. We use a double opt-in process for subscribing to e-mail newsletters and you can unsubscribe at anytime.

How We Use Information You Supply In Registration

When you register to apply for a grant or award, your information is used by Nimble Press and the Sponsors only to process applications and to contact you when necessary.

Nimble Press does not sell or rent customer lists. Personally identifiable information you provide is not shared with anyone except on an aggregate, statistical basis, and except for the purposes of fulfillment and e-mail deployment by the specified grant-giving or awarding organization.  You authorize us to provide your personal information to Sponsors.

Administrative Type E-Mail Communications.  You will receive administrative e-mails that are related to the primary usage of our service, including reminders that the information you have provided is incomplete.  If you use our Web sites and don’t complete the process we may send you a survey about your experience,  If you use our Web sites, you may not opt-out of administrative e-mails. These administrative e-mails will not have any marketing, promotional or advertising material(s) in them.

E-Mail and Postal Mail Deployment, Data Analysis and Other Data Services.  We provide customer lists and other information to third party companies who provide specialized services to Nimble Press, such as e-mail message deployment, and merge-purge (identifying and removing duplicate addresses) of lists. These companies work on our behalf and we do not provide our lists or other data to them for their own use.

In order to comply with the Federal CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, we also may provide lists of customers who have opted-out of e-mail promotions for Nimble Press products to other companies, so they can be removed from mailings those companies send on Nimble Press’s behalf.

Contests.  Nimble Press administers contests.  If you choose to enter, the data you provide will be subject to the official rules of the specific contest, as well as this privacy policy. Please read the contest rules carefully before you submit your data.

Co-Branded Sites and Services.   When you use a co-branded service within our network of Web sites, or register or otherwise provide information on a co-branded Web site, you grant us permission to pass the information collected back to that service or Web site partner. Their use of your information is subject to their applicable privacy policies.

Legal Requests.  Nimble Press will disclose your personal information in response to verified requests from law or other regulatory authorities.  You agree that we may disclose your personal information without a subpoena when we believe in good faith that the disclosure is necessary.

Change of Ownership of Nimble Press.  The mailing lists associated with a particular grant or award program belong to the grant-giving or award organization and are maintained by Nimble Press for their use. In the event of a change in ownership of Nimble Press, Nimble Press or the new owner will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you and provide the opportunity to remove your name from the associated mailing list(s).

Security

We use industry-standard methods to keep the personal information you disclose secure and to only release this information to third parties as set forth above.  However, we are not responsible for any breach of security or for the actions of these third parties. You as a registered user, have access to your information through a secure username and password. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and have the ability to change the password at any time. You can unsubscribe from our e-mail lists at any time.

Links to Other Sites

The Nimble Press Web sites includes links to other Web sites we think might be of interest to you. Our sites may also include advertising which may be of interest to you, and which may provide links to third party Web sites. Nimble Press is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any third party sites and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before disclosing your personal information.

Removing Your Information

If you give Nimble Press your personal information over this Web site, and you wish to have your name removed from Nimble Press’s database, please send us an e-mail to removeme@nimble-press.com, and we will remove your name.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

If we change our privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page. If you continue to use our Web sites after we have posted changes to this privacy policy, you agree to accept those changes.
